You know, I was on the phone with one of my friends, a girl, and I showed her a picture of Leon Edwards and then Alex Eubank, and I asked her, “Which physique is more aesthetic?” and she said that Alex Eubank looks disgusting that his chest was way too big. And then she proceeded to say that Leon Edward's physique was perfect. Facts don't lie.

I have been trying to start working out and get in good shape for almost 2 years, and every so often I would stumble across some dopey “fitness” influencer who got me motivated for about 2 weeks, and fed me a load of BS. Mario and Martin are the only people on this platform who not only motivated me to start going to the gym, but to keep going to the gym, so thanks to the both of you telling us the hard truths and showing us all how to better ourselves properly.

1) training standing up is better than ab routines
2) forearm grip exercises are better than curling exercises
3) calves do not matter for your physique
4) the mid delt is more important than the front delt
5) squat + bench + deadlift + military press will build your physique

You may not probably read this but I really thank you for your knowledge. I have started ditching most seated machine exercises to standing up and I must say, I have seen a lot of results and look much more aesthetic compared to back then. Keep doing your great work. Really look up to you.

The second one is super true. My forearms got really mascular and vascular when I started doing pullups, because I was gripping and holding my entire bodyweight. So grip exercises do create vascular forearms

I tried bench pressing while standing up . Eventhou i broke my neck but atleast my core was engaged

During the pandemic I was doing a "normal" gym routine, seated exercises mostly, I got weak and very injury prone. When I started to stand up and reduced the time of working out (1 hr instead of 2.5 hrs) I started to really gain strength mobility and health. One good advice is also to stick to basic exercises not to overdo/overtrain muscles (squats, OHP, bench press, etc) help more than just machines.

This is why Leon Edwards is the most aesthetic man to live in the solar system

I also did some mistakes before by doing ab circuits that wasnt functional at all by simply doing sit ups, bicycle crunches, dumbbell side bends, and etc. And one thing i think i remember is by doing seated exercises such as seated dumbbell press which i think i remember which is why i decided to follow your footsteps by simply working out but standing up. Which is likely part of my mistakes that i did by simply doing ab circuits that isn't functional at all. And maybe i think i remember is by training while seated which means doing seated exercises which is simply overhead press but seated and some bicep curl with one hand instead of doing standing up. I learned my mistakes as well Which is why im training standing up ofc including training standing up whenever possible as well since i do standing up exercises such as squats, deadlifts and bicep exercises including overhead press lateral raises and the other exercises which is standing up, and even farmer carries which what makes your arms vascular. I do workout at home ofc while training standing up whenever possible. I only have dumbbells and resistance band and train with what i have here with dumbbells and resistance bands. I also sometimes do bodyweight exercises such as squats, push ups. But decline push ups for that good upper chest which makes your physique so aesthetic. Since upper chest, mid delt, back and a narrow waist is what makes your physique look aesthetic. So i did watched your videos that made me learn to not make mistakes whenever im training. Which is why i subscribed you and thank you for everything for making me learn my mistakes and how to train properly which is by training standing up whenever possible. So thank you mario rios including your twin brother martin Rios for everything since it meant a lot to me to learn my mistakes and training standing up whenever possible. So again thank you Mario rios for everything for guiding me on everything and also teaching me everything.❤

I was already doing most of my bodybuilding in an athletic way before discovering this guy. When I started 8 months ago I was 6’3 153 lbs and I’m now 172 lbs and feel a lot better about myself than I did before I started.

Also I should mention I only go to planet fitness since it’s the closest, most affordable and is 24/7.

Thanks for the video mario. I was wondering if you could spend more time on helping people who want to purely work out to improve athleticism as i know that you are the most educated person around to talk about it and i think alot of people would appreciate it! Thanks for all your work.

i developed abs from just engaging my core during pullups. The "training standing up" is true. But don't most people want to do ab routines to increase their core stability and strength apart from training standing up ?
