Our cable machines have small weights that stack on top specifically for this. I think they’re Life Fitness

A tip for this hack, if the weight is too big for the pin, and maybe feels unstable, insert the plate between the weight stack, like after the first weight from the top.

Or you could just buy the gym and get a cable machine that has more weight ranges (not recommended)

Alright obviously kidding with the "top secret" part, but this tip can definitely come in handy and is something a lot of people overlook.

If you're doing a bigger compound exercise and/or the machine goes up in smaller increments then it usually won't be necessary, but on isolation movements (lateral raises, curls, triceps extensions etc.) it's an effective way to help you progress more smoothly over time if the weight stack does increase in larger jumps.

Doesn't every gym have the little increment 2kg weights to add on top of the stack ?!! I use them very often I thought it existed on every type of pulley system/machines

There's little rubber weights designed to sit on top of the plate stack. Check to see if they have a decent supply of them before you sign up at the gym.

My gym has small weights that are made for cable machines

I did this and it worked for the set but then the weight fell straight into my phone screen and broke it

Another great idea is to focus more on the negative of the rep so that instead of focusing on volume of reps your focusing on time under tension.
