I played SWG during Live, from Beta to the last day! It has to be my favorite game of all time! I played SWG Legends for a few years then took a 2 yr break due to RL. I've been back more than a year now. My shop is open and I ❤️ it. I'm going to be online a bunch starting Nov. 1st to Nov. 4th. Please mail Modaan if you have any questions! :)

The Battle of Restuss starts the 16th of August and Restuss will be destroyed on August 24th. It is something new players don't want to miss. Very explosive

I’m glad this was in recommended! It’s honestly interesting to be set after the Original Trilogy.

Curious on stories or how the worlds are handled in this timeline sense. I’ve usually been bad about finding MMOs I like. Even the Old Republic while looks good and has its moments, never truly got me lost in playing.

Definitely gonna search this one up and test it out.

Pre Patch 10 was the best time I ever had in any MMO including the beast in the room, WoW. the ability for anyone to become a jedi in the Imperial (OT) era soiled that glory for me, but I still loved this game and when SOE shuttered the servers a part of me died inside. I wanted to try one of the many clone servers for a long time but I never worked up the will to go download and try one. I might reconsider now that there is one that has out-lived the real server...

i thought SWG before shutdown advanced the games timeline to empire strikes back with the Hoth battlefield heroic

It would make history if there was a team of dedicated fans/devs who would want to put the game on something like Unreal Engine, just minus the star wars licence, but with all the systems the game has with better tuned combat. This would be historic!

Always wanted to try SWG but I couldn't afford two Everquest subscriptions AND a SWG subscription. Kicking myself for never trying it when the servers were live but i was a broke college kid.

I am returning to the game when Pre CU servers (or CU even) get JTL. It is getting so close.. so many hours spent in this game as a child, into my teenage years. And then again when the emulators started getting bigger.

Had some fun with Legends, but I don't like how quick you gain XP, and just prefer the older profession system. Empire in Flames is probably my favorite server that is up currently, and the SWGEmu team will prob get me back there (and at EiF) when JTL is added.
