If there's anyone we should listen to for the best Fuji glass, it's this guy. Great recs!

I think the new Viltrox 27 1.2 Pro that’s coming out soon will get added to both your kit and mine when it’s released. Their 75mm Pro is apparently awesome so that wider lens will be more useful everyday

Great video! I’m currently using the xf 18-120mm f4 and the xf 23mm f1.4 mk2; I also have the Voigtlander 23mm f1.2 for personal photos. Even with the Fujinon glass I manual focus around 90% of the time, the focus by wire isn’t the best but it’s just fine for product photography for me.

I’m really heavily considering the Viltrox 13mm as I need something wider to use in my tight studio at times…

The 16-55mm after the last firmware has become more usable for videos and I'm really appreciating it!

Very nice short gear talk. And I really love your new space! About glass I use: on the #cine_x_one (x-h2s rigged up) mainly the Fujinon XF18-120. It's the best 'cheap cine lens' fuji offers right now. Second are my three Canon vintage fd lenses 24, 35, 50 SSC. Third a SIRUI native x-mount anamorphic lens. And on the cine_gfx (gfx100s rigged up) only the GF20-35 for my ongoing project 'Multi-Exposures in an Urban Environment'.

Next step are some DZOs in PL mount (with the Octupus adapter for the x-h2s and an GF to PL adapter for the Gfx100s....

I got the Fujifilm XT-5 when it came out and got a 23mm 1.4 prime used on ebay and literally have not taken it off since. I'm looking at that 13mm now though Ooooo baby! Great video as always man! Keep inspiring!

Your Fuji content has been such a huge help over the past few months. Really appreciate it!

If I could ask, what LUTs/transforms are you currently using with FLog2? I’m still trying to find a rec709 transform that I’m super happy with.

Thanks!

Great video. I know it might not be the most popular choice but I got the 18-120mm and have loved it. It’s my go to for day to day family footage and I plan on using it for some documentary type projects. I have been holding off on getting the 13mm as I love my fuji 16mm 1.4 but it not ideal for video. I’m debating on whether going for the 13mm viltrox or the new Fuji 8mm.

The 16-55 has the exposure stepping issue. You have to set ISO to auto to make the exposure stepping smoother

I bought a Viltrox 13 for my Nikon Z50 this year and I LOVE it, except my camera doesn’t have IBIS 😫I’m planning to sell my old Nikon photography kit and an old Fuji x100t to make the switch to Fuji (xs20) and I was looking for my first lens for it. I hadn’t even thought of buying a second Viltrox… but now i can imagine with that IBIS it being stuck on my camera forever. Super wide isn’t for everyone, but i love it for my own work.

Been eyeing on the Sigma 18-50 2.8 for Fuji since I sold my 16-55 2.8

Great video! If you’re looking for a 35ish AF lens for Fuji then that new 33mm 1.4 is really magic!

Hi! I really hope you or anyone else may be able to help. Just found your channel while trying to figure out which lens to get for my first Fujifilm XH2. I'd love to use it for filming. So far I've been using Canon Rebel + Canon 50mm 1.8 lens, which is great both for filming and product photography, with a lovely soft quality and bokeh. I want to upgrade my equipment and make my videos more cinematic. Your video was very helpful, now I know more about different lens for Fuji, but I'm still having the hardest time deciding which lens to choose to start with, any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you :)
