Interesting 🤔 making mental notes here!!! I said to a man a year or so ago, “Why do you feel the need to constantly watch porn in your late fifties? Porn that is escalating into rougher and tougher scenes? You are an attractive man who could have any woman you want, and yet you’re relieving yourself without the joy and love of a great woman who is right there with you!”

He pondered on that for days and said, “Well, I guess part of me is afraid of rejection. Afraid I can’t perform and afraid a woman will be so clingy that I’ll get smothered.”

“OK, “ I replied. “So I guess what you’re saying is this is an uncomplicated release that gives instant gratification without strings!”

“Exactly!” He replied.

“But do you feel loved, appreciated and comforted with this activity?”

“Well, when you put it like that- no, not really. But what’s the alternative? I don’t want to get hurt again and I don’t want to be used!”

“Then you need to slow down and just date with integrity. Perhaps stop chasing Princesses and look for a Queen who is mature with a full life that doesn’t need to grab onto you like a clam. There are plenty of women who are beautiful and secure who you can explore passion with- and you might end up finding a diamond in the rough!”

He took my advice. Slowly weaned himself off porn and began to enjoy dates with Queens. He did meet some princesses, but I’d helped him identify the difference so he could keep moving along the process.

Ha ha, I like it, I have the first two in spades .. feel really scared about the third one tho, for some reason .. I don't know why, I suppose its hard being a girl because I just tend too get to like one person, a lot, and technically I'm open to other offers, .. like, the cute Amazon guy was quite distracting, but he was a bit busy doing all those deliveries :D .. but really, a guy has to hit so many levels to be attractive and it takes tiiiime, and then he freakin doesn't like me?? Or not enough?? It's so disappointing, and it was a case of serious mixed messages, not funny. Anyways.. How is it you get to feel confident again when life's thrown you a load of hardship, then a gorgeous shining light, and then hardcore disappointment? Trying to move on, but he's proper floored me.
