Hey guys, in this video, we talk about what's in my wallet for Q3 of 2024. The 5 credit cards I have in my daily wallet are the Bilt Mastercard, Citi Strata Premier, Citi Custom Cash, Capital One Venture X, and Chase Sapphire Reserve. On top of my daily wallet, I have 9 other active credit cards at the time of this video being uploaded, and each one gets used at least once a month for specific purchases. Everyone's credit card setup will be slightly different, but I am confident that all of the cards in my setup complement my overall credit card strategy very well as I'm someone who prefers to earn transferrable currencies that can be used to help me travel the world for free. This setup may not be the best for you, particularly if you are on team cash back, but if you're on team travel, I would highly consider some if not all of these cards!

If you can’t pay your card before end of the month. DONT USE THEM. You will never be able to retire

Man I need to do a better job in spending here and there on my backup wallet cards. Definitely going to draw inspiration from how you're doing it. Nice video Spencer!

I like the strategy to have an “in person” and “online” catch all card

What do you use for Apple Pay? I feel I rarely ever use my physical venture X since almost all my miscellaneous spend is online or Apple Pay/tap to pay

Wait why wouldnt you just let the Chase Prime Visa stack up points?

You probably already know about this offer, but I just activated my 3 month trial of Marriott Gold Status from the CSR. If you stay 3 paid nights during the trial that extends your status to Feb 2026.

Thought it’d be worth it especially since I also have 5 free nights from the Boundless welcome offer. Hoping to score an available upgrade during those nights 🙏🏼

Looks like a nice set-up. Im down to just the Amex Gold and Venture X for simplicity.

Seems like having the Sapphire Reserve AND the Venture X is sort of redundant. And with Amex Gold not sure why you need the Bilt Card for dining.

have you experienced any fraud with the bilt mastercard???

Loved the structure of this video! Really important to understand that not every card we apply for is going to be used consistently, and some may just have one specific purpose. Whatever the rationale, there is no one size fits all and appreciated the transparency on which Cards you use for what! Great video Spencer!

My wife got the Venture X for the 2X Worldwide, where the Citi Double Cash and Amex Blue Business Plus get 2X only in the US. We flew back from Canada this week and have been in 15 countries this year (Barbados, Slovenia, Chile, Guatemala, etc.) and were tired of 1% catchall.

You don't need the Costco card anymore. They have it all in the app now. I haven't carried the physical card in maybe a year now. It was a pet peeve of mine for years. Great video!

Rotating category cards are dumb. Everyone should adopt the US Bank Cash+ model

How many hard inquiries do you typically have a year? I’m at 6 with 6 new cards in 9 months

Quick question. I'm looking to get the Citi duo hopefully next year once I hit 5/24. Might also look into 1 or. 2 Wells Fargo cards. Do you reccomend going with the same bank back to back for new CC's over the course of 3-6 months or switching it up? Or does it matter as long as that gap is large enough between applications? Great content as always!

Spencer, the burner question is, where did you find that big ass wallet for your back ups?
