💥 EDIT: The Amex Platinum card DOES NOT give you airline status. I misspoke about that here. They do have a $200 airline incidental credit, but they do not offer airline status. My apologies!

$1000 a year and you can travel for free, after spending 100k to get enough points

Balancing these cards sounds like a headache

I would substitute the Amex Platinum with the Venture X. 2x back per $1. Anual fee $395 but you get $300 back and 10, 000 every anniversary

that setup has a very high annual fee though. you wont get a lot of free trips out of it after the first year unless you're traveling lot or uses personal cards for business travel and then filing expense reports.

After seeing the BILT card I think going forward that may be a must have especially for Renters

I’m surprised you didn’t substitute the CFU with the AMEX Business Plus. I know you love the Amex trifecta as well

The CSR instead of the CSP and it's not only for transferring to parnters, it's for all travel purchases except airfare (that goes on the Platinum). You get 3X on hotels, rental cars (with excellent insurance), taxis, public transportation, parking and cruises. Also use it for dining where AMEX is not accepted (which is in a lot of places abroad).

The real come up is the signing bonuses. Everything this guy said is partially true but it only takes you spending a vast amount of money to build those type of rewards, not to mention annual fees. Get your signing bonus, travel, onto the next.

I would consider using the CSP for car rentals, as it's CDW is primary.

I have the same exact set up as you and honestly it’s perfect works great

The Amex gold at $325 AF doesn’t make business sense, the coupon books that come with it; it’s nearly useless at best.
You all have a great day.

I use this exact set up but I have the ink business for the 1.5 so it’s essentially the same because I transfer it out to the sapphire reserve for the bonus

Would you what about the Amex blue cash card would it fit in this set up?
