The Sino-American War, which The Liberation Of Anchorage in 2066 was a part of, was actually a war derived from worldwide Resource Wars where countires fought over the last oil reserves. So I think soldiers were being deployed into worse fights than Anchorage before 2066.

Nate from FO4 was US Army, he was apart of the 108th infantry regiment second battalion that was deployed in canada to liberate it from chinese occupation. if you pay close even attention you can tell nate was infantry without having a definite answer. this can be seen in the first minuteman question when you save them from concord. sturgges tells nate that there’s a t60 model power armor on the roof and nate’s respond is “i like it” now a none infantry soldier would say “how the hell do i operate that suit” but nate knows how to operate the suit and knows how to operate heavy weapons with the suit. only trained soldiers could do this. not only does he know how to operate the suit he knows how to repair and modify the suit. only infantry soldiers had the knowledge to use the power armor suits.

Obviously I understand that the Zetans are from a planet that isn't Earth. But is there lore in the games like in diary entries or computer about them? I've watched a lot of Fallout content but haven't really comw across anything about the Zetans being anything more than the stereotypical alien gray
