Biggest hack is book row 1 if it’s available. The Polaris seats are slightly staggered and your footwell stretches under the seat in front of you so it gets fairly narrow, especially on the narrow body planes. Row 1 doesn’t have a seat in front so the width of the footwell is significantly wider since it’s not under another seat, which means more comfort when you lie flat.

Also if you are traveling alone, book the single seats that are NOT angled to the aisle, you get slightly more privacy that way because you are not directly facing foot traffic and you have a shelf / storage cabinet separating you from the aisle.

Champagne is not a reason for flying any airline. #1 is safety. #2 Likelihood of flight taking off and getting to your destination on time.

I do like Polaris but usually fly solo so I go for the window pods

The biggest mistake might just be …booking with United. Remember…they are all about diversity and equity. They are willing to hire pilots based on equity…as opposed to merit. I don’t know about you, but I want to fly on the airline that hires the best+most experienced pilots.

The middle seats are not more spacious …they’re the same size as seats in business class
