I'm loving this Pilot Episode of "Pimp my Tank" - please make it a full series.

Imagine that... Asking the war fighter how their equipment can be improved. What are the higher ups thinking?

But does it show hitmakers and final killcam?

This is how all upgrade packages should be done, ask those who use the kit what should be done, they know what works and what doesn't.

I was on a Generals Staff (Worst job I ever had). We were tasked to help engineer a Cockpit Design for a Marine Aircraft. I have no idea why I was tasked to assist in this except I was a Crash Fire Rescue Officer and was caught reading the message board and couldn’t disappear fast enough. So we’re working on this and the subject of “Work Load” comes up and the Pilots are really straining to put the pushy, turning, glass screens, bits in so the driver can push buttons, my input was “Why don’t you guys just make all your switches digital and have master buttons that programs all those buttons at once” to which they in unison responded “Shut up” so we’re not making a lot of progress. So one of the Pilots brought a bunch of teenagers in and said “How would you guys set this up for a video game?” They had that cockpit done in an afternoon. Now I have no idea why we did this, but it sure showed me that our education and paradigm can affect us in ways we can’t even imagine.

Those cameras are nice and all, but I don't think they will last long in a combat environment in their current form.

So basically.... cover it in bloody cameras, ladders/steps and paint it like minecraft.

🤔

(P.S. Driver looks like the kid from the movie “This is England”)

Now that's the way to do it. It shows a clear understanding of the so called organization paradox: most authority is at the top, most knowledge at the bottom. I'm pretty certain that when armed forces around the world would do this, the learning curve would go up pretty fast, especially in situations where they are confronted with new threats or tactics by the hostiles.
Besides: it probably motivates soldiers/corporals and NCO's even more in doing their bit, when they know they are listened to and treated as the valuable specialists they are. I hope officers take this example in empowering leadership at heart. I'm pretty certain that the troops who were allowed to do this, will follow their officers to hell and back if need be. Nothing makes for a more effective band of brothers than that.

So, lots and lots of cameras!

But shows how soldiers care most about logistics and situational awareness

Okay, so here it is. Straight from from the horses mouth. The soldiers themselves have shown the MoD what is needed and what they want.
NOW GIVE IT TO THEM!
