a lighter slide also gives you slightly less recoil, but aftermarket slides are typically heavier than plastic slides, so anyone whos worried about recoil, just slap a ton of shortstrokes onto the gun and your good :3

Rate of fire and durability seems like a massive upgrade to me. I’ve seen lots of stock tm hi capas crack and break overtime so it’s a worthwhile upgrade imo

The Slide cut on a stock zinc alloy metal slide is the critical part for some.

I hear if you're going to stick with the plastic slide, best to replace the recoil spring with a 120%. Better durability.

Some barrels have holes in them to release gasses and reduce recoil. But that’s when you get into competition shootingI don’t have one I want one though

Durability is a huge plus for the slide. Stock slides WILL break with green gas. Tokyo Marui hi capas are meant to run on duster gas. Give slides credit dude. Plus your fire rate goes down but 20 bucks will fix it. Throw in a new spring and a short stroke kit.

Good luck with the plastic slide.. it will break easily when you upgrade your inner parts to add FPS and faster cycle
