Korey. I too own a 24 Z06. I too had an issue with remote start.
My dealership had the car over a week. They replaced the body control module (BCM).
Fixed the car!

I have a 1st gen Z06/ 3LZ/ 2023 and have had zero issues with it. l drove the heck out of it last summer and put 4300+ miles on it. THE CAR IS A BEAST.

My 2024 has run flawlessly for 3000 miles. ZERO issues. Easy break-in for 1500 miles

If you track with CCBs you would have to be Ayrton Senna to wear out a set of rotors in 3 track seasons. I lived near willow springs and had 3 GT3s two with PCCBs . Never even came close to wearing out a set of rotors.

6000 miles on my ‘23 Z06. Mechanically flawless, so far.

1, 500 miles of varied road use before tracking any car, and GM engineers said this repeatedly in their videos and appearances. Interesting video, but many of the quality issues have either been addressed or where one offs. The series compares favorably with tolerance levels of any German car manufacturer in mass production.

Seems like you had some issues that aren't really issues now in the later models. I never experienced any of these issues for my 24 z06

Just to remind the haters: The 2024 Z06 is a mid-engine Corvette with 12.5 compression, solid roller cams with computer controlled lash adjustment that revs to 8600RPM AND is the most powerful N/A production car on pump
I think we can cut them some slack on a few things don't you think?

Don't know if this is having an impact on your trans, but Chevy says take it easy the 1st 500 mi, & avoid the track until you reach 1500 mi. Sounds like you jumped the gun on the tracking. I have a C-7 & this has been a different ownership experience than my previous cars. It's been fun, just a bit more involved. Enjoy the car & have more fun at the track.

I’m going through similar issues with my transmission. When I turn, it won’t shift and it over. Rev’s. I also had an issue this weekend where it would not shift on the freeway, nor any throttle response.

Have you ever had it where the car didn’t shift and kept it at red line? I did a launch from first gear and didn’t go to second for some odd reason (I wasn’t in manual mode nor used paddles)

Thanks for a nice video. I feel fortunate as I’ve had none of the issues you’ve experienced except for a few interior gaps as you pointed out. However, I have Porsches that have also had that issue. I only have 2100 miles so I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

The panel fitment issues are the same across any American brand that uses assembly line base models and turns them into high end models. The 2020 Base C8 was 59, 995. I get that a Z06 can approach 200k, but it started out as a 60k vehicle. At least the starting car was phenomenal. This same reason was always what turned me off on GT500 and Hellcats, their base cars were 30k interiors and they wanted over 100k for the top dogs.

On your remote start I had the same problem with my 2024 Z06 it's needs a 4025390 engine control module replacement
