Man's fall through bridge raises questions about conditions across metro Detroit

After a man fell through a pedestrian bridge over the Lodge Freeway in Detroit earlier this month, many wondered why it took the Michigan Department of Transportation almost a week to respond to the incident.

I can tell you stay off the bridges and roads as much as possible. Slow down to about 30 on the highway when you see the actual road is gone if not be prepared to beg, borrow and steal to fix your vehicle your means of survival.

I think those bridges were poorly build in the first place. The rebars are way to low and not properly centered within the concrete.

City run by democrats for years. No one replied to voicemail for a week. Same problem happened in st.louis county over the last twenty years. Now it’s mostly black almost all democrats and the roads are always trashed vacant property everywhere trash everywhere grass two feet high. Was never like this twenty years ago.

Come to Miller road bridge in Dearborn. Every single new F150 is driven over. The bridge is 10x worse than that bridge.
