At about 1:04:00 point a reference is made concerning 1 Peter 2:18-19. He says Jesus preached to the spirits when He died. Actually, Jesus went and preached to the spirits AFTER He was resurrected from the dead (because we know the state of the dead).

Very good argument for this doctrine. You may want to deal with the Hebrews 1:5: "For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? argument. I think it is apples to oranges; as one is dealing with being of the same substance as God and the other: Genesis 6:4 is dealing with being a direct creation of God. Just for a heads up.

This is a very debatable explanation for many. My conception of this question goes beyond that - I’m inclined to believe that the so-called creators were a group of very advanced aliens who were believed to be God or Gods. In this age of DNA knowledge and the possibilities of manipulations etc, the whole story of creation as explained in the Bible, and so much else, begin to have a whole new aspect of understanding. In many ways, it seems as though it was a time of experimentation filled with uncertainties. Otherwise, why was the first version of man changed so many times, including an alteration (obviously within the DNA) of the lifespan from several hundred years to 3 scores and 10? Then there’s the story of how God later sent a team of his angels down to do various chores here - how they noticed how attractive the women had turned out - married who they chose and produced exceptional children, which God later found out about and stopped. If, as the Bible says, God knows and sees everything, then I don’t understand why it took so long for God to realise what was going on?

There are so many things to question once you get started - especially among the Old Testament Laws that can be so cruel and unfair. Yes, Jesus came later to sort the mess out but they killed him before he could complete his work. Now, instead of following his example and continuing to question and change similar rulings to those that he changed, we have millions of humans promoting love and compassion in some things and hate in others. One example regards the presence of homosexuality. Obviously, it was just as present when Jesus was around, and since it is fundamental to the growth of humanity, I don’t get why Jesus didn’t even mention it if it is the sin that so many claims it is. I am more inclined to believe that in the beginning, when the aliens ‘promoted as being God’ set out plans for humans to go forth and multiply, unable to correct the so-called ‘problem’ and prevent homosexuality from manifesting in some, they just made a rule to have them annihilated and this rule has continued to cause so much suffering and hatred. But that is just one example of other similar rules set out in the Old Testament that Jesus didn’t get the chance to address.

Through Nichiren’s teachings, many of which are very similar to those of Jesus, I have been able to go beyond everything else that I was taught and grasp a much truer meaning of ‘God’, one that has no limits and whose ultimate rewards can only be reached and achieved by way of compassion…

I really am unpleased at people who do not read the Bible and take their religions word for things, it is supposed to be GODS WORD we are to follow. The Bible says many times that the word of men are doctrines of devils.

In the context of Genesis 6, the Sons of God are human believers, just as believers under the New Covenant are elect Sons of God now.

Many Angels are also Sons of God by Election.

This election is predestined from eternity by God to ensure perfection and not see spiritually death in Hell.

Thus the elect angelic Sons of God cannot fall into sin nor are they the Sons of Genesis 6 as angels being immortal are not married nor are giving in marriage.

The Human Sons of God avoid the wrath of God because they are not judged with the wicked and never are the cause of Gods Wrath on the earth even when they stumble into sin. We are instead out of love, scourged and chastised but not destroyed and sent to Hell because God promised.

He separated Cain and his descendants from the Godly line of Adam through Seth (Genesis 4) and established two distinct types of civilization. The Canaanites were given to "the world, the flesh, and the devil." The Sethites were God-conscious. They called themselves by the name of the LORD. But when the two cultures expanded it brought them into contact which resulted into inter-marriage. The Sethites allowed themselves to be influenced and corrupted by the Canaanite women. God became angry and brought catastrophe upon them. Genesis chapter 6 reads: "When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the LORD said, 'My Spirit will not contend with man for ever...' The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time... So the LORD said, 'I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, off from the face of the earth - men and animals... for I am grieved that I have made them.'" (Genesis 6:1-7) With this He ended an era, and a great civilization passed into oblivion. The people of Noah's time had disobeyed God in every way, including refusing to keep His chosen line spiritually and racially pure. "But Noah found favour in the eyes of the Lord... He was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God." Because of this he became the founder of a new order based on obedience and service to the LORD.

But two generations later God again separated the families, for Ham and his son Canaan had failed Him. They were excluded from the Godly line and fathered the Canaanites, Jebusites, Amorites, and Hivites, who later "came together to make war against Joshua and Israel." (Joshua 9) But Joshua defeated them and "made them... woodcutters and water carriers for the community and for the altar of the LORD..." Again and again God reiterated the principle:"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: 'I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people. Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.'"(2 Corinthians @-18) When the Israelites took possession of the promised land, God told them to "make no covenant" with the inhabitants. He said: "Do not intermarry with them... for they will turn your sons away from following Me to serve other gods, and the LORD's anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you... Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah poles and burn their idols in the fire. For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be His people, His treasured possession." (Deuteronomy 7)



When Nehemiah returned from Persia to rebuild Jerusalem, he re-established God's Law. But in doing so he had to decide what to do about 'all the mixed multitude' which had been born in the mean time. Chapter 13 records: "When the people heard this law, they excluded from Israel all who were of foreign descent... Was it not because of marriages like these that Solomon king of Israel sinned? Among the many nations there was no king like him... but even he was led into sin by foreign women. Must we hear now that you too are doing all this terrible wickedness and are being unfaithful to our God by marrying foreign women?" (13:3; 26-29)

Stop following teachings of men no matter how famous and prominent they may be or how compelling their teaching is, they are lies sent to deceive you all. Ask yourselves, are you one of the 'they' Paul mentions in 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine but have itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts.

Your arguments are flawed for the following reasons alone:
1. People are called ""...‘sons of the living God.’” (Hosea 1:10) and "You are the Sons of the LORD your God...” (Deuteronomy 14:1) in the Bible. So the title "Sons of God" applies to people and angels.
2. The title "Sons of God" is never applied to adversaries of God (such as demons), but is given to people and angels in service of God.
3. Marriages in the Bible are always between a man and a woman, never between an angel and a woman. Also, where in the Bible are angels ever depicted as desiring women, like men do?
4. About the Nephilim, the Bible says: “They were the heroes of old, men of renown.” (Gen. 6:4). The Bible clearly states that the Nephilim were men, and the Bible describes men as human males who have a human father and a human mother.
The proponents of the fallen angel view of Genesis 6 are either oblivious to the arguments against this belief, or they simply choose to ignore these arguments.

Why didn't you go the bible definition and stick with that? Seed is defined and sons of God are defined in the New Testament.

King James Bible
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Satan's seed is spirit also, which is why the Pharisees were told:

John 8:44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do

And I belief Jude comes after Romans so God could have just said "sons of God" but he didn't because God's sons do not go to hell!

Luke 20:38For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him

You do greatly error!

Jude is talking about all of the falling angels being reserved in chains of darkness because they are already judged without hope given the bible says:

John 16:11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Men can be born again, not angels. Also, Satan and his angels don't have glorified bodies, which is why they don't appear like holy angels in the bible.
