A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. ~James 1:8 (KJV)

1st time I've heard that.

My father took me to a Primerica rep on my 18th birthday to open an account. Once I got home and saw the expenses ratios and hidden fees, I closed my account that same day.

Never buy a brand new car. Lesson learned. Buy a car when you have

I love the way Dave handles this call.

Love the baby steps! Paid off a 32k car loan down in less than a year just eating beans and rice and stayed disciplined. Anyone that doesn’t do it just doesn’t want to. It’s so easy!

19 years old, went through 3 cars since 18, $14k jeep, $6k jeep, $11k audi, spent my $1000 a week paycheck on nothing. I found Dave 1 month ago, sold and paid off all my cars, got a 2000 pontiac grand am now just saving money. Much love Mr. Dave

Having debt just creates risk. I’d rather operate with 0 risk, and lose out on potential interest. Risk free lifestyle = easiest.

After watching I called my finance company and paid off my truck in full. Debt free! Now I'm going to focus on saving and investing.

I’m going to need Victoria to get it together! She needs to pay off her debt and keep it moving! I guarantee she doesn’t want that debt hanging over her head!

Dave is not a licensed financial advisor so technically you don’t have to follow it. Also you do not have to follow the licensed advisor either. If I was to choose, if you follow the license advisor you will technically end up having more money at the end. If you follow Dave’s plan, you will have more peace and a a bit less money. It is why his course is called “Financial PEACE University” not “Financial Maximization University”. Depends in what you value more? Peace or maximizing your wealth?

When the called mentioned Primerica, that was an immediate red flag.

Primerica is a scam, I would stay away from them so many red flags with that company !

I would take dave Ramsey’s advice over primericas anyday !

Does this advice apply for non-interest bearing loans. I.e. my nissan altima 36 months @ 0%. Do I benefit from paying it off early? If for nothing else, just to get a monthly payment off my plate?
