Port workers strike looms

Tens of thousands of port workers up and down the East Coast were threatening to walk off the job at midnight. CBS News New York's Lori Bordonaro reports.

one of the things that the unions are fighting for. on the new contracts is that the owners of the ports are not allowed to do automations so that no jobs are lost. if not the unions threaten to go on strike. if anything this will make the port owners to want to go and automate even more not less. the only thing that might happen is that the owners will agree to the new contracts. and than little by little bring in automations. than at some point when everything is good and ready hit the switch and make the ports fully automations.
