The reason it opens for every finger is Google don't want to be discriminatory

What's funny, is that most of the big tech channels simply called the back glass and didn't even notice the difference that it was plastic. Sort of goes to show that most people won't notice the difference if companies switched back to plastic rather than all glass design.

60hz at this price makes 6A feel like a phone from 2020. They could've at least added a 90hz panel. People switching from 60hz won't notice a difference, but once you're into the faster refresh rate experience, trust me there is no going back.

What do you guys think of the Pixel 6A at 44K? 🤔

I wouldn't recommend buying the pixel 6a cuz u can get the pixel 6 for just 2k more and u get better. Display cameras more ram and storage better build quality and list goes on . Was expecting this to launch around 36-37 k then it would have been an option

Agreed! I am able to buy this (in the UK) at 399£ and have a series - A buds given for free. I am also able to trade my old Pixel 3A for another 100£ off, giving me an effective price of 199£.

I know Pixel is all about software optimization, stock android, excellent camera, security updates etc but 60hz and 18w Charger for 44k in India is disappointing. For most of us Indians 44k is already a luxury price. I own a Pixel 4a and I love it but sometimes you have to think out of the box. Not worth the price.

I once installed Pixel Experience ROM in my K20 Pro and it had the same fingerprint issue. When I switched to another AOSP based ROM, the issue was gone.

Pixel 6a is a disappointment... Atleast 90hz + fast fingerprint was acceptable

Still 3rd party service for India . It's a disappointment
even xiaomi has some reliable service centers
google has high pricing and it once said that they aren't interested in selling many phones. So only pixel fans will buy this

really good intro rupesh. Brought the thoughts into the viewers minds right at the forefront and explored the video well, point by point

I can live with the plastic back but the only drawback for me is 60 hertz display, because i'm used to 120hz

Just get yourself a redmi note 10 pro and flash pixel experience rom 🤣. 120hz amoled and 5000 mah battery... Using it right now and it's amazing apart from a few bugs that I can definitely look past considering the price difference! Gcam is alright but takes a lot of time to shoot and process photos due to the slow 732g.

Hey if you think about it Pixel have always been giving mid range processor in their A series phone. This time they put their flagship Tensor chipset at this price. Tho the chipset isn't good.

I'm using *S20 FE 5G* which has 120hz but i always prefer the 60hz as
A) it doesn't drain battery quickly, it keeps the battery for the entire day
B) it actually doesn't make much of a difference when it comes to using phone on regular basis wrt apps, OTT video & things like that.

Please guys don't be hell bent on 120hz as it drains the battery and i guess that's the reason Pixel 6a has kept 60hz display.

Cheers ✌🏼
