The google pixel 6a overheats! Do this to stop it!

The google pixel 6a has an overheating problem! 🤦🏾‍♂️
I had multiple people tell me that their google pixel 6a overheats during the day. It happens when they are doing meetings or using it a lot.

Things that can help are. If you are using the phone a lot do it on a cool place. Also take the case off! This can also help.

I just filed a claim on mine about the overheating issues when recording. I even threw it into a sink with cold water to cool it while recording. It just displayed the recording quality reduction message and turned off completely in like 5 minutes. The phone had no hot spots on the thermal camera.

No lies detected, it got worse after I updated it to android 14, it heats up soooo much that I can arguably use it to iron my clothe, pretty annoying.

Is the fingerprint issue still there? Fingerprint does not work most of the times.

it happen to me also and when I turn my phone in restart mode it does not switch on again it restart until its battery run off

I have pixel 6A from like 2 years and yes it gets warm, but never overheats.

I have to put mines in the freezer. Sucks, I'm going to just out out my contract & get rid of it. I also get shocked when its charging, told staff at TM & they said "oh thats normal, People get shocked all the time" 😮

Living in Kentucky in the middle of Summer is not a good idea with this phone lmao. Always something wrong with it, def switching to Samsung once this one runs its course
