The back glass registers fingerprints better than the fingerprint sensor itself xD

Based on my experience over last three days. Build Quality 10/10, Display Brightness 8/10, Refresh rate/Scrolling 8.5/10, Performance 8.5/10, Speaker 10/10, Battery 8.5/10 No issues with fingerprint or heating so far. I prefer the compact size. There is a fantastic exchange value option. For me it's a no brainer under 35k. Scrolling is very good even at 60 Hz. Camera needs no mention. I haven't used it much

Wait till summer & 5G facilities arrive, this could get toasted. Frankly, I've shuffled my purchase decisions between the Nothing Phone (1) and the Pixel 6a, and almost pulled the trigger on both.

Great Observations. Google won't have any market share in India if they keep up with this. They can't demand halo pricing like Apple does. iPhone for many Indians is a status symbol, Pixel, not so much, many people I knew would be surprised that Google even makes a phone. Good luck to Google for launching pro models with exorbitant price like this.

We've known that optimization is the USP of Pixel devices since launch but what was Google seriously thinking when cutting THIS MANY corners and launching this in a competitive market as India?

Personally my experience has been different.
Haven't faced the FP scanner issue. I asked friends and family to try it out, and they couldn't unlock it.
4G infra in India is substandard. By the time 5G gets remotely up to par, this phone will be old.
The display and speakers are good enough for me.
The processor is snappy, and although it heats a bit sometimes, it's not something to be "concerned" about imo. Battery life (after adaptive battery kicks in) has been good.
The quality of life features are really awesome.
The camera is top notch.
The display size is just right for me.
Who worries about the back? Normal users use a case 99.99% of the time.

P.S. got it for 34k after exchanging my cracked screen OnePlus 6 and with Axis debit card discount

That fingerprint issue on Google's own phone when they brag so much about privacy and security in Google I/O is nothing short of a disaster.

@Pratik Rai
Android 12 now comes with adaptive charging enabled by default. When you put your phone to charge between 9pm and 3am and your alarm is set to 6am or later,
The phone's charging speed will vary based on your alarm.

Got it for 29 after 8 months, and the issues seems to have resolved now, it's a good pick .

As far as I know pixel phones
They are like wine
The older the gets the better they are

Come on guys! That fingerprint sensor shows the capability of Google and how much they know about you. Nothing to worry about lol.

Got mine day one and have had no issues with the FP sensor or anything else. I mostly chose the 6a because of it's size. I don't like the big brick phones anymore.

We gotta wait for next software update, because it's currently running on April patch

Nice genuine video. I think you have been spot on its issues and pricing.

There is a genuine problem with finger print reader on 6A. Exactly like you mentioned, register one thumb, and open with the other thumb. And it can't be opened with any of the other fingers atleast for me.

Overall the phone is decent, but pricing wise it crossed the comfort factor.

For everyday standard usage it's good. I have been using a 4a so have a different comfort level with this phone.

Although the camera is old, I think it's still the best in this segment.
I have used a Moto for the UI and vanilla Android, but the camera is a shame.

Most of all I think Pixels are usually meant for a different audience and Target group. If you're like me, uncomplicated, mostly care for the camera quality and stock Android with timely updates, 6A is a decent buy specially during big billion days.

I believe the price of 6A will dip in the next few months. I bought 4A last year in October when it was for ₹19800 with exchange and card offers along with that I got Nest Mini for ₹1 and Lenovo Smart Clock Essential for ₹19 in the same offer from Flipkart and it's working great.

To be honest, I am not sure why Google wants to continue in the smartphone sector? They should spent the infrastructure to improve

Finally! Someone considers 35k and above as premium category. Every other reviewer calls this as mid range, like wtf

Hi @techwiser, now this phone is going to be priced at 27, 699/ Flipkart big billion sale. What do you think of this? Is it good to buy now?
