These are the two main problems with the google pixel 6a🤦🏾‍♂️. After using the google pixel for just two week I found two main problems. The first issue that I saw with the google pixel 6a is the dropping call problems. On the google pixel 6 line up some calls go directly to voicemail. Which is something that happens on every pixel specially the 6 and the 6a.

The other problem that I found was the fingerprint reader on the google pixel 6a. It does not work all the time. And when it does not want to read your finger print, Trust me it will not. In order to fix the problem I had to do the fingerprint all over again.

I registered each thumb twice on the fingerprint reader and it is very quick and responsive that way

For the fingerprint, you have to use the exact finger!

my fingerprint wasnt working well(30% of the times~), but just yesterday, i removed my two finger prints and registered them again and now it seems to work fine(just 5%~ errors now)
and there's also the Screen-Protector-mode in settings, I've turned that on

This is the phone I am using right now my fingerprint works great and I love how smooth this phone is and the animations are clean I the phone is rarely laggy.

I got the pixel 6a during black friday last year. Had no issues with it using it as my second phone. In fact, i’ve been having a blast using it. The finger print reader is quick and easy to use. The battery is pretty decent. I can easily get through a full day of heavy use and I mean I really put that thing through its paces. Never had the second problem though I did use the phone abroad. I never put any north american number in the phone.

The call issue was definitely your provider. They're the ones who provide the services thru the sim and you just use the phone to get that service

Currently using it rn, and it's been a good 2 years! Have rarely had issues (besides storage, which i actually didn't mind paying for 100GB storage) the camera is really good too! I'm planning on making baking TikToks and IG reels with it. After that, I'm planning to launch an at home bakery business IF i actually get enough recognition and support.

The straight to voicemail thing is expected to happen every time you make a first call even though it doesn't happen to every phone.

Awesome! Yeah the fingerprint sensor is hit-or-miss many times, my main issue is the very small battery which lasts for the entire day only on power saving mode... Cant recommend this to my father who is rocking a 6000mAh battery

I have the network issue. Every time any person call me, either he cannot hear, or I can't hear.
I have enabled 4G, allow 2G

I also got the fingerprint reader problem after I put protection glass on my phone screen, earlier it used to work fine 😅

it’s the carrier for calling usually if you have t-mobile or t-mobile based carriers you can have this problem

I 100% agree with that. The fingerprint sensor is straight way very bad. I always have to use my PIN. On the other hand the battery on mobile data is very bad too. I always have to carry a power Bank behind me.
