How to project your Windows 11 screen to another PC, Smart TV or Xbox using Miracast

In Windows 11 you can project (or cast) your display to another Windows PC, Xbox or Smart TV. The technology is called Micracast and with it you can project your PC to a wireless display or another PC and it's a fantastic way of getting your PC onto a big screen

Thank you!! After 1 hour + worth of researching I found this video! The only thing is I had to restart both my Surface Book 2 & Surface Pro 7 in order to see the Connect app. Otherwise, it works perfect!!!

Maybe you can help me. I can use projection from my laptop to my desktop. But i can't find den laptop from my desktop. Any idea? Laptop says "ready for..." but i can't find the display from the desktop pc. It's searching but finds nothing.

I wanted to use my laptop as my streaming PC so I was going to project my gaming PC screen onto the laptop. I'm worried that I'm going to get massive frame drop or CPU lag by doing that

Not working for mine, (ever since win was updated to win 11)
I have a surface 4 (win 11)
and a Alienware laptop on win 10
Both worked before, now on my surface if i try to cast this way my laptop wont show up

You click and switch screens far too fast to follow. When you do these assume the person trying to learn isn't familiar with any of the features and slowly.. clearly show closeup with the camer as you say what you're clicking on or typing next. Thank you.
