Quickly change display settings with the Windows+P Shortcut

In this video, I demonstrate how to quickly change your display settings in Windows using the Windows Presentation Mode keyboard shortcut, accessed by pressing the Windows key and the 'P' key. Please note, the momentary blackouts of my desktop in the video are an artifact of the screen capture software used, they did not happen on the laptop itself.

My problem was that my computer screen was broken and my display screen was stuck on an extended screen. I clicked on my settings to change it, right-clicked the screen, and clicked on display settings to change it, even tried asking Cortana but the open tabs weren't showing up on my extended Monitor and I didn't know how to fix it. After browsing for solutions on a different device, I finally came upon your video. I tried the Windows+p short cut and moved my cursor blindly on the monitor's side and clicked. And I got back to duplicate screen. It was so simple I felt a bit silly for being so anxious. Why couldn't I have known this sooner?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE WINDOWS + P. I once dropped my laptop and it went broken so i bought a new monitor. Then i went to extend screen and i saw the broken screen so i couldnt change it back. I pressed windows + p and clicked around and it went on the right one. Tysm

Thank you very much. You literally saved my life I mean by job. When I'm using the duplicate monitor I accidentally pressed the PC only which is having totally black screen. Like a blind I pressed many keys but nothing changed. I watch many videos to find the short cuts. I finally found this. Without seeing the screen I was able to switch to the second monitor. Thank you again.

Yes! This works so great when I have one monitor turned off or switched to a different input. The Display Settings menu always seems to pop up on the window that I can't see. I was happy to learn about the WIN + arrow keys to move it to my active monitor, but this is like the full meal deal. Thank you for sharing! Very nice concise demonstration as well.

I had my gaming pc plugged up to my TV and monitor at the same time. It was extended to my monitor and main desktop to TV. Honestly I was too lazy to go to my TV to change settings and or unplug the hdmi cord. So you saved me 5 steps, so thank you.
