This new game just came out of NOWHERE... Where Winds Meet

Check out your first look at a new open-world action adventure RPG game that lets you decide what you want to be in a chinese world full of dangerous foes. I'm super intrigued by this one.

I was just at the gamescom stand for this game, where they've just shown this trailer and nothing more, but they were very anal about cameras for some reason. The chinese girl told me something along the lines of this being a concept demo to gauge public interest, that they are not even sure of the game's title yet. They apparently also plan on doing multilayer mode after the main single-player, bscly like Ghost of Taushima did it.

Wheere Winds Meet is basically a Wuxia story made into a game with all the freedom and over the top characteristics. I'm honestly excited for it.

The "magic" part that's mentioned in this video is actually a technic that exists in traditional Chinese medical treatments. Usually, the doctors will stimulate (點 dian） ur acupuncture points （穴 xue）with thin needles or precise finger-applied pressure. The goal is to stimulate the nervous system and cause ur brain to release certain signals to the body to speed up ur healing process, etc. But obviously, the docs in real life can't just strike multiple people's pressure points with air pressure as shown in the game. 😆 Same goes for the part that causes multiple peeps to not be able to move.

Looks like a sequel to ghost of Tsushima mixed with assassins creed (the slightly glitchness of objects and buildings)

I've recently been obsessed with murim and wuxia things because I've been reading too many cultivation manhuas recently lmao. It's made me hope for an open world murim rpg to come out And this might just be what I'm looking for lol, lots of wuxia set games are appearing recently and it's made me happy because it's such an underused concept:□

Lots of ambition to this game.

Visuals are beautiful, environment looks huge and detailed, city and plains are alive.

Combat seems involved, bringing different martial arts for the weapons, and the implementation of what appears to be "qi" makes for an interesting twist to encounters.

Customizing your character through specialization is a stellar idea, hoping it's implemented via training and experimentation to unlock new branches, rather than just "Level up, assign skill point".

Interacting with the world, even to the point of affecting other players is a great idea, but it'll be taxing, and it could spawn greatly varied opinions of the game itself, both for difficulty and for variation to the gameplay.

Again, hugely ambitious game plan, really hoping it'll work.
It could open so many possibilities for future development.

These demo gameplay are always perfect. But when the actual game is released, they have very bad graphics or filled with buys. Cyberpunk is the best example.

I like how the gameplay is like of Witcher 3 + assassin's creed + Ghost of Tsushima lol. The Wuxia inspired world is absolutely stunning in dark environment. Not hyping this up but i think it will be a decent game.

Guys, it's not necessarly because a game looks good that it HAS to be a flop. It's just you making too much expectations on only a trailer and end up disappointed.
Sometimes, life just gives a gift and you have to accept it :)
