2008 Toyota Highlander AMSOIL Oil Change & Flush

Back with Mike's 2008 Toyota Highlander doing a oil change with AMSOIL Signature Series 5W-30 100% synthetic motor oil and a AMSOIL Engine Flush. The oil capacity is 6.4 quarts of motor oil.

The engine flush shouldn’t you put more oil in there to get the flush that’s sitting around then drain it then fill her up again?

How much smoother can I expect my transmission to shift after I complete my second drain and fill with the signature Amsoil ATF? It feels better after the first drain and fill from the factory ATF. Its a 2010 Accord 3.5 Liter . Thanks

Been running Amsoil in my cars since 2004, never had any issues, first tried it in my 94 Honda Civic that had 87, 000 miles when I bought it, still have the car and has 225, 000 miles original engine and transmission, all I’ve had to do is timing belts water pumps and valve adjustments, and getting ready to pull the motor out for a more powerful DOHC freshly rebuilt and will run Amsoil on this engine.

Amsoil filter looks just like the Toyota TRD oil filter. Wonder if they are made in the same factory??

Previous tech tip, on the Toyota/Lexus the cap with the 3/8 ratchet will allow you to drain the filter, less mess

Any reason not to go 0W-20 ? I believe the same engine 2011-2013 are 0W-20.
