Lung cancers and abnormal growth of cells that starts in the lungs and it is not under normal control switches grows and grows and spreads. It has the ability to spread to other organs and left alone will take someone's life.

People present with a lot of different symptoms, sometimes it's a cough or cold; it just doesn't go away. Sometimes it's coughing up blood, weight loss, trouble swallowing and then other times it's not symptomatic at all. People are having a normal chest x-ray or scan for another reason and a nodule is found and it's discovered that way.
