Summiting Lhotse via the Lhotse Couloir!

This Lhotse video is part of my Summit Video Series which also includes videos of climbing Everest, K2 and Kanchenjunga (links above). The same video style is also coming out very soon for our successful summits on Manaslu, Ama Dablam...and more!

In 2021 I guided six of the worlds 8000m mountains, summiting four of them and turning back just meters from the summit of two - Makalu and Dhaulagiri. I tried, when ever possible and appropriate to do so, to capture the small intricacies of the mountain and the terrain we climb on route to the summit. Join me for the full journey to the summit!

Lhotse Summit Climb starts from the South Col at 7950m, the very next morning after having climbed Everest. We descend the Geneva Spur and head back around to the Lhotse Face. From here it's a direct line up towards he Lhotse Couloir, into this and up to the summit.

Good video and it's nice to see someone who isn't just fixated with Everest which is why it looks like a fairground attraction with so many people just waiting which is the reason for the latest fatalities on the Hilary step.
