Aisin had an issue with thier pumps for a little while so they are now manufacturing newer better pumps. If you get the Kit now, 2020, you will get the new pump. It says "Aisin Made in Japan" on the top. It looks better and is improved pump

Ive heard of issues with the Misto-bo-shi belt. I installed the belt because I didnt want to spend the 70$ for the Gates Unitta OEM belt. I shouldve just bought the Unitta but I didnt. Now im debating changing the hydraulic tensioner, so I dont press it too many times, and the belt. But belt works fine now. Just not the most confident with it.

Thank you for the review! I wanted to point out that testing a cold water pump is not a very good way to check it. I have had pumps go bad/impeller slips, but when cold it is tight and looks fine.

The OEM hydraulic tensioner oh Hondas is it made by AISIN or GATES? It doesn't have any marks on it.

This is the same kit I put on my 2006 Accord last weekend. Mine was from Amazon through a seller JDM-Euro-Man. Same price as Rock Auto though. The grenade pin was a pain to pull out but I was expecting that. Let me know how it goes for you!

Do you still have to install the shim on the idler pulley or you can do it without the shim? You've mentioned before that the Gates kit come with a shim, but this one doesn't.

I have 2013 honda crosstour v6, do you know if Aisin TKH-002 and TKH-011 are interchangeablefor J35? Or the size of the parts are different?

Aisin needs to do a better job calling it or like the original liar I replaced my belt yesterday then it broke
