TeaTime Tuesdays are finally back! Thanks for cozying up with me ☕ Anyone else also feeling the need to shake the habit of negative self-talk?

I'm a psychotherapist, and this is a technique that we use to help clients re-write their story. I'm grateful for this video, reaching so many more people than individual therapists can possibly reach...

I have a feeling that if we could get more people binge-watching Sadia's content, the world would be a better place. Every video leaves you in a way better mental state, more peaceful, more determined to become a better human being. Kudos to the Pick Up Limes team!

Sadia seems like a close friend of mine that I’ve never even met. Such a gentle and authentic soul 🙏

Been following you since years now and absolutely love Tea Time Tuesdays!
Potential topic - Loneliness

The reason I really like your videos is that instead of commanding like lots of influencers and making us feel guilty/inadequate you guide us in a gentle way. It's therapeutic.

Thank you ❤️

Didi thank you to pass in to my life. Few years ago I learnt how to use bullet journal, focusing on MY life. Thank you to teach so many things. Keep growing & helping. All the best.

How to quit procrastinating. Would love it if the next TTT video covered this topic.

As a therapist, I absolutely love this video. Paying attention to our internal dialogue and the way we tend to word things has such a great power, but we rarely ever think of it. Making small and subtle changes to our words is one of the first things I practice with my patients. Thank your posting this!

This teatime Tuesday video made me cry. I was feeling so overwhelmed lately from all the courses, exams, internship, all the covid news and so. These last 5 minutes felt like a treat, I just forgot about all the pressures and negative inner dialogue I was having for the last few days. I just love you. Through PUL, you've helped me so much, I am forever grateful. Take love from a younger sister of yours!

I needed to hear this, Sadia. Thank you for being a friend, even if I've never met you. I've been manifesting negative feelings and now they're my reality.. It needs to stop. Thank you for reminding me.

I’d love a tea time talk around relationships and how they evolve. The world feels so divisive right now and I’m in my late 20s, a time when all my old friends are really growing apart and choosing different paths. Even becoming vegan a couple years ago has really tested a lot of my relationships! Compounded by a pandemic it’s really easy to feel lonely and lost.

Today in culinary school we talked about how we expect the waiter to do everything right. Once everything is going well we don't have anything to complain about. But, when the waiter spills a drink, didn't come at the table on time or any other "bad" thing, then we have negative thoughts on them. I just needed to share this and believe that we should pay attention to the good things in life too, instead of only focusing on the negative thoughts we have.

"Way too much time in my own head" ... the single greatest contributing factor to my struggling mental health...

"Never give myself credit or praise even for things I was doing well " This statement hit home for me. I started to noticed how each work or project I do, even is the one I am proud of, I rarely telling myself "Great work" or crediting myself. Its always feeling like I am just not good enough. Thank you for the amazing tips Sadia!

What I learn is to always see myself as creator not competitor. That helps me not keep looking over my shoulder all the time and just focus on my work.

Another aspect of this is allowing your expectations to meet the stage of life you are in... What you did or achieved in your 20s or 30s is vastly different to you in your 50s or 60s. Judging yourself by your old standards and not allowing yourself the freedom to change can make you harbour negative thoughts towards yourself. Thanks for this Sadia, it’s an important topic ❤️

I opened this feeling stressed. Six minutes later, I am relaxed and smiling. Thank you.

The second you said “grab a cup of tea” I paused the video and made myself tea. Such a lovely talk. I appreciate your energy and your videos so much.
