Brazilians are damn good people. Very friendly and welcome you with open heart (and open arms too😊) been there way back in 1992 and would definitely like to go back. So many friends still in memory. Unfortunately that was not internet time !!

I have travelled in China and Japan and EU as a vegetarian. It is always difficult.

I always carry a laminated sheet in Mandarin and Japanese that states that I am a vegetarian. — no fish, no beef, no chicken, no pork. No animal fat.

All vegetables are ok. Milk and cheese are ok. And yoghurt are ok too.

This helped me to go to restaurants snd eat vegetarian food.

Let me tell you something . The brazilians that are aways saying that Brazil is very dangerous, are normally the ones who never travelled outside the country, they live in a bubble of fear, frustration and negativity. I'm from Brazil, never got robbed in Brazil in my entire life, but since I've moved to London, I got my phone stolen twice. Brazil is so huge that you gonna find unsafe areas but also you'll be able to find towns or villages where you will be able to sleep with your windows open.
