Thank you for letting me tour and experience places in Japan that I would never get to do without this! ❤

BBQ Eel. I think there was rice, small soup, pickled veggies, something else. Was back in the mid 1970s. But now you must buy in advance. Olden days you got from the train. Green tea. But those Bullet trains are so graceful & sleek compared to the time of the 1970s.

Wonderful video. Loved that you did all those bento boxes. The Jelly reminded me of our Jello with a bit of different texture. The lesson on the persimmon sushi was great. Thank you for teaching us. I love knowing that kind of history about foods. Thank you!

As someone who has to drive around for work all day I would LOVE it if we could get self-heating bento meals in the United States. I've seen self-heating military MREs but it's a great idea to use that same principle for ordinary lunches.

And I don't think I could have eaten more than one of those larger meals, much less five bento meals. Well done!

You have an amazing healthy apetite, EJ! I lost count of the amount of bento boxes you managed to consume😅 ...I live on the coast, in the south of England, 🇬🇧 UK, and fish plays a big part of my diet. Mackerel and Herring eaten raw, smoked or pickled, Pilchards (also known as Sardines) and Cod are a few of my favourites...I really liked your Bento food Odyssey on the shinkansen Nozomi. Thank you so much for the enjoyable vlog!👍🥰

I wish we had Ekiben type meals here to buy. I do enjoy the bento boxes for lunch at my local Japanese restaurant. After seeing the different meals, I think I'd like the seafood ones. My father introduced me to octopus and squid years ago. But they all look delicious. Thank you for sharing.

It's more than food it is a feast for the eyes. Definitely it's better to share the good looking art work than to fill the stomach only.

In the Netherlands we have semi-raw herring with onions and pickles, a truly Dutch delight!
