This doesn't solve a damn thing. Go after colleges for selling worthless degrees.

Doesn’t anybody realize the country is bankrupt and has no money to pay off student loans?.

I would hate to live in Oregon if this went through. Oregon senate just presented an offer to give homeless people $1000 cash per month per person with no limitations on what they can spend it on. And the taxpayers will have to pay for it. What is going on in this world.

So because People CHOSE to get Degrees that cost Thousands/Hundreds of Thousands to go into a Field where they wouldn't make enough to pay it back? How is that anyone else's fault or responsibility? This is BS

Hey. Is there any middle ground where the government can help with the interest, instead of the entire loan? I am capable of paying back what I borrowed, the issue is that I now owe over three times the original amount..

When I came out of high school college was around 600 per semester. Let the people who don't like this debt forgiveness explain how that went to 25K per year, and that ain't Harvard. Students have been ripped off by the seamy side of for profit schooling for decades. Why do corporations get money for 1% while students have to pay 6% or better?

But who pays for it? The already working tax payers? You know damn well the government is not gonna suffer at all.

I hope they strike it down, it's not my fault that I was successful and these people weren't. Don't agree to take on debt if you're not prepared to pay for it.
