Does the stiches get messed up if u try to uk strech and twist the rubber? Like if u wanna use it as hair tie.... The question is for this pattern and all other patterns tbh

In the first round of double crochets, I couldn’t tell whether you were skipping a stitch or just chaining two and put it in the next stitch. Your video doesn’t say. So I assumed it was the next stitch. It would be helpful if you had the words up there thanks. This is a cute hairband.
