I can't help being glad that the 1500 isn't just about Kerr and Ingebrigtsen anymore. Lot's of great athletes smoking that event.

Great to see Yared Nuguse winning a top quality 1500m race even though no major title was at stake, how can anyone not like this guy.

Jakob just beat one of the greatest track world records ever. That sort of effort will leave someone flat and prone to illness. He will be recovered and on fire for diamond league final. Still impressive today.

Hilarious! Look at the result table! In third place: Cole STOOL. (The German word for 'stool' is 'Hocker'! Maybe somebody was having a laugh, but if you've ever been to Switzerland, you'll know that's unlikely...

Notable to mention that Jakob had an infect after the 3000m WR and even said that in the interviews before the race, still impressive from Nuguse to win against that field especially after loosing to Giles earlier

Im so proud that our runners arent the "brash" Americans but humble likeable and friendly competition with each other.

I hate when people think you have to hate your competitor to beat them. If you are facing them and they are good competition you can be ruthless on the track and respectful outside.

No one likes a sore loser..or winner for that matter.

It takes more syllables to say "W" than to just say "win"

Jakob was right when he said it’s him vs “the next guy”

The "bring the 'mile' back" campaign has worked, the metric mile (1500m) is the top of the sport right now. Many great events, but the 1500m has the smoke. It may not have brought back the actual mile, but i bet it has promoted more attention to the middle distance.

Elguerrouj is still the best with the old shoes and Tartan

I love how open Nuguse is about being a geek. An avid splatoon player beat jakob ingebrigtsen.

Wow! There are four legit threats to win the 1500 on any big stage. This race is starting to rival the sprint events in popularity.

Hocker was great, showed so much desire to win. However, I think he got lucky also. He had a free pass on the inside, which basically allowed him to have a chance of winning Olympic 1500

50 years from now no one will remember who Josh Kerr was. While Javob might be the greatest middle distance runner. His consistency is amazing

It's great that these 4 athletes keep beating each other!

Apparently Jakob was a little ill. No excuses but he didn’t quite look 100%, dropping off the pacemakers. I’d say the same aboit hocker and kerr as well. Long season perhaps

Jakob is still the best 1500m runner out there. He had some kind of infection during this 4ace. He will bounce back next week in Brussels.
