I set a new mile PR this morning in 5:18. 3:45 is just ridiculous.

3:45.60 for a season opener is insane.

2022 World Champion Jake Wightman just ran a PB and came 5th… insane how stacked this field is.

Rather lost in all the excitement was the 3:50.15 mile run by 17 year old Cameron Myers, who may have been hampered by the rough racing behind the leaders. It’s a shame they don’t have a smaller field of no more than 12, or better still 10 maximum, when you have so many closely matched athletes in the one race. With continued proper nurturing what will Myers do when he’s 21 or 22? Kerr and Ingebrigtsen might find him a handful then.

Although Kerr won, Jakob looked relaxed and still gave the thumbs up at the end. As he is coming off of injury and still has time to sharpen, I would still consider him the favorite for the Olympics.

Jakob Last year did 3'43” ... yesterday he did 3'45” with also the injury in the winter season. Soon it will get bad for everyone, even for Kerr

3 Scottish athletes under 3:48 in the same race! Not bad for a country of 5 million people.

I'm stoked to see who medals in Paris! Kerr is rocking, Jacob is healing up from injury, and Naguse can not be underestimated.
