The sauce you showed is called 冷やっこつゆしょうが醤油 (Hiyakkotsuyu shouga shouyu) it's a ginger soy sauce basically ("hiyakko" means cold tofu, "tsuyu" means dipping sauce, "shouga" means ginger, "shouyu" means means soy sauce). If you go to a supermarket and say "Sumimasen, shouga shouyu sagashite imasu..." (excuse me, i'm looking for the ginger soy sauce. The u in the words are the elongated "o" like "show") someone should be able to find one of another brand for you if they don't have the same. Or just try to look for these characters on bottles しょうが醤油 Hope that helps! ^_^

Also, my favorite episode of EYS is the one titled "Bad Lip Reading." Not because I liked the absolutely hilarious challenge, but because Simon being a hot mess over you guys being separated is basically the cutest thing. And Martina saying "It's okay big guy, we're together?" It may have sounded like "lol, why you cryin' bro?" but it was just... perfect.

my favourite episode was when Martina and Simon decided to visit their families without telling them! It was like a spy movie with all of those hidings, whispering, using their family members to cover their arrival. And of course, the surprised faces of the family! Simon who played deliver guy and Martina as a waitress! It was great-great-great episode ^^ will re-watch it now

My favorite Eat Your Sushi episode would be episode 19 where you talked about perspective on life. You two are my role models. I used to be very negative in life but as I tried being more positive, you two were always there to help me through it. This episode is very special to me because it reminds me of how far I've come now in my quest for happiness. You are always very happy and positive and I look up to you for that. Thank you Simon and Martina. <3

I was told by one of my professors that one of the main reason you don't find trashcans in and around the subway station (and maybe on the streets, too) in Japan nowadays has to do with the subway sarin attack in Tokyo, back in 1995. Basically, some people following a cult (Aum Shinrikyo if I am not mistaken) released liquid sarin (which is a deadly substance) around the Tokyo subway during rush hour and they also used the trashcans in the stations to place some of their packages with that substance. Some people died and a lot more were injured and this is not the only act of terror this cult did, but apparently this one was one of the worst ones and also lead to trashcans being removed from subway stations.

I think my favorite episode was episode 15 when you gave Dan the salted Licorice and he thought it was tea or chocolate. I died laughing and had to stop the video I was crying. I just really wish we could have seen his reaction to it. It must have been great! I also love Martina's laugh. It always brings me such joy when I hear her laugh. I am a new comer to the channel, but both you guys make me feel so happy when I watch your videos. I always look forward to Sunday nights/Monday mornings when your new videos are posted.
