Omg the Valentino Cat Bag was the one I immediately zoomed in and screenshotted the second I saw it 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Obsessed!

Your list is so beautiful and refreshing. You already know I’m obsessing over the dark romanticism that was incredibly prevalent this fashion month 🖤
Sleazy, minimal goth chic… iconic

I agree about the focus on indie designers. I think it’s people searching for something fresh and intimate as opposed to the impersonal feeling big brands can give. Daniel Roseberry predicted this a couple of years back. I love your videos and I also miss your intro song too❤

My discovery of this fashion month is the Berlin brand, in slow fashion: LR3 Studio. - A one size fits all approach, very minimalist and drappy. They have styled celebrities of all genders and bodies with the same look. The silhouettes are beautiful. Very different. Then EGONLAB !!

I loved your YSL review! It’s exactly my thoughts as well!

I never thought of YSL as a handbag or leather goods luxury brand. Their strongest suit has always been their classic tailoring and RTW like their tuxedo jackets, suits, jackets, coats. You were so spot on to say that was their “Birkin” their jackets and coats and RTW are their true “hero pieces”

I have a few YSL jackets from Anthony Vaccarello’s recent menswear collections and every time I wear them, I get complimented. It looks so chic and sleek. I describe it as looking like a stylish supervillain lol.

PS. If you like Sylvie’s style in Emily in Paris, you might have noticed that a majority or nearly all of her style in Season 4 was Anthony Vaccarello’s recent YSL womenswear.

I feel like Anthony Vaccarello has really found his style in YSL. The powerful, sensual, androgynous classic tailoring for both menswear and womenswear.

I hope he doesn’t leave anytime soon! 😂

That Vautrait aesthetic is wonderful, I can certainly see it being a defining look of the next few years! Where can I find the footage of the up-close look at Celine SS2025 you spoke about?

I just was in awe of the Grace Ling fashion show in New York. The rose dress ❤ but most of all the suits and the long sheer skirts/ dresses. If I had the money I would love one item of the collection

Beautiful! I like Grace Ling, fascinating. Didn't know her. I wonder, could you do a series on unisex / non-gendered collections or designers ?

The only shows i might add would be Bottega Veneta or Carven. Thanks for the heads up on Vautrait also.

Celine was great.
Its my favorite show of the season and its probably one of the best Hedi womenswear collection ever.

My Top 3: Celine, Louis Vuitton & Max Mara

honestly if alessandro restrained himself a tiny bit, and still did his aesthetic but in a slightly more "streamlined" way (in a way that is more in line with Valentino's aesthetic) I think he wouldn't be criticized as much. It's just we are so desensitized to his maximalism to the point that it just gets tiring.

Yes, Alessandro for Valentino is very 70's, 80's Valentino, and is not the same as Alessandro's Gucci, ( which is why I actually quite like Valentino, while I hated Gucci by Alessandro ) AM's Gucci was very gender non binary, more weird and radical in shapes, color combinations, his Valentino is actually much more gendered, more commercial, its just the many colors, textures, accessories and the OTT styling makes it look Gucci, but take the looks apart, Valentino is so much more wearable ( and not Gucci ).
