I'm glad to see oversized anything go by the wayside!

I think people making comments are thinking that wide leg pants means oversized sloppy pants.
I have wide leg jeans that are very fitted on the waist and hips and they look fantastic.

Much happier with my closet since carefully purchasing classic, high quality wardrobe basics. (Maybe an occasional fad piece if I love it and it works with my existing pieces.) I now have a lot less, but I wear everything I have. I started with a 3-color palette and built from there. Marie-Anne has given such useful advice; I hear her every time I shop!

I do believe in wearing pieces which suit us rather than following the trends. I think burgundy is a beautiful colour 🙂

I never have followed trends. I wear what makes me happy, suits my figure type and makes me comfortable. My advice is to be ‘you.’ Trends come and go and sooner or later they will return to repeating themselves. Dress for you and you will be confident and secure in your unique self and style.💕 Best of luck!

I never bought any oversized blazers, they’re squarish, too long and unflattering, especially on us petites. I prefer a classic fit, that narrows at the waist. I’m glad these huge, boxy jackets are on their way out, now I’m finally seeing some classic-fit blazers again that I might actually consider buying. The oversized trend was persistent, but designers and brands finally got the message when the fitted ones always sold out at in an hour. It’s like the “Shrunken Blazer”, no shoulder-pad, trend of the early 2000s, nobody wanted those either, but designers and brands didn’t offer anything else for years. It’s in brand’s interests to push weird silhouette trends to make us feel out of style and buy extreme new ones, but it’s not in our interests. I won’t buy clothes that I know will look really outdated in just a years or two.

In my opinion burgundy is such a beautiful colour. In Vinted I recently found a longchamp bag in burgundy, I love it.

Pink is my favorite color and I will never give it up. It had been a dominant color in my wardrobe all my life. I never even knew it was a trend. I have simply always worn it.

For jeans, I have been wearing slim leg, straight leg, bootcut, wide leg and flare leg. I wish all the silhouettes would stay around because we all have different shapes and proportions. I think skinny jeans still have a place in my opinion. In the winter, I really like to wear them tucked into boots and wear them with a blazer for that English equestrian look. They also look great with a blousy top and heels - that's just my personal style. Sometimes, I am in the mood to still wear them.

I never knew that cargo skirts were in style to be in with.

Thank you for acknowledging that for some of us, pink - in my case coral - is a flattering choice to keep wearing.

I’ve always disliked the “leggings as pants” trend. Hopefully, everyone gets this message that they are finally out! Gym or workout only. Great video😍

I’m a tall pear shaped senior and I love a moderate wide leg or trouser jean. They look flattering, they are comfortable and they are very versatile! I’m so happy to have options in jean styles now.

Yes! Agree. I never heard of cargo skirts, must not have made it to my world. Marie-Anne grooving in that sweater was very amusing 😊

I proudly wore boot cut all through the skinny jean and l/jeggings era decades and will continue to do so through the wide leg era!

I hate those oversized blazers. I feel like I’m wearing my husband’s clothing. Even belting it doesn’t really work. There is too much bulk.

Ooooh, I adore burgundy - and am totally looking forward to adding a piece or two in that colour. I really didn't like the pink trend and the bubble-gum shade that predominated really didn't suit me at all. However, this is a life lesson from Marie-Anne that I really embrace - as an older woman I"m finally confident enough to know when to say "nope, not for me, not gonna do it." Omg, you should have seen me in the 90s wearing all sorts of unflattering shapes and colours because I thought I was wrong - not that the designers might be! Thank heavens for Marie-Anne, tailoring options and vintage/consignment shopping options!

Wide leg pants and jeans are not my cup of tea. I don't like it. Straight leg and bootcut are more flattering to me. I shall avoid wide leg trend.

I am only 1metr51...I think that wide leg trousers are overwhelming..so I tend to go for straight leg..
