Muay Thai Broken Rhythm Sparring | Namsaknoi Muay Thai

This was a light sparring session with Kunihiro when he first started training with me. In Thailand, we don't spar very hard, instead we focus on timing, precision, and movement. We focus on reading each other's movements, trying out feints and tricks, and setting up attacks at the right opportunity.

We don't spar to injure each other. We spar to observe how different sparring partners move, and learn how to respond and counter the different styles. Naturally I don't make it easy for Kunihiro to read my moves. My sparring rhythm is unpredictable - I circled around alot, led him on with feints, and striked when his defence was down. It was super frustrating for him.

But I had been in his shoes before. Back when I was a young nak muay, my seniors gave me a really hard time. I learnt to calm my heart and relax my mind in difficult moments. Gradually, clarity and awareness would take over. Then I just ride the flow.

Namsaknoi is vicious! i have been in this poor student shoes today, getting my behind handle to me by a senior student. Great sparring techniques from the great NSN. Keep up the good work.

The timing is so incredible. I would be so lost. I've watched this video before and am still not sure when the strike is going to come. When it does it is clean and piercing. Respect.

Wow, that is sick! Would love to spar with this guy. I always wondered, how do pro MT fighters seem to 'know' the head kick is coming and pull off a ligthning quik 'lean back' slip?? I see them doing the lean back all the time as if they 'knew' it was coming ahead of time. Insane reflexes? Knowing their opponent? Reading the movement ahead of time?

I see in the website that it's 17, 000 baht for a month training. Does that include lodging?
