I think this girl's mom is playing a dangerous game by giving her daughter's number out. Too many damned crazy people out there in the world. Mom needs to also RESPECT her daughter's choices AT THIS MOMENT. I don't think Steve really addressed the fact that the young lady wanted mom to STOP doing that to her and RESPECT her feelings.
A lot of times, our mothers and fathers don't want their children to grow "alone" or "unhappy, " but sometimes, that's further from the truth. Sometimes, a daughter or son doesn't want to be in a relationship at that time due to school, work (like this young lady), or bad experiences. I think mom should sit back and be happy that her daughter is not out here with some knucklehead who's going to treat her like trash, be disrespectful, abusive, etc., and be happy that her daughter is fulfilling her dreams right now and living her life. She's 29, and mom is hearing HER daughter's biological clock ticking (you would have thought it was hers!)
To all the moms (and dads) out there wanting their daughters and sons to "settle down" for the sake of having grandkids or carrying on the bloodline: Be careful! You may wind up causing resentment and pushing your children away.

Not everyone needs someone in their life to be happy. The goal is to be happy by yourself and your relationship is supposed to amplify the happiness. Wish people would stop trying to force others into relationships or forcing parenthood onto others.
