Some maybe, but definitely not the majority. The most significant issue with religion is the facilitation of it. The problem isnt necessarily with a God telling you what choice to make, its a congregation of followers that chose to weaponize scriptures to use as fear tactics to force you to change to their will. They dont want you to submit to god they want you to submit to them. So those majority of non-followers are left with defining for themselves what's right and wrong and do their thing their way.

Why do you think there's so many who subscribe to a religion and maintain their faith independently but refuse to attend a church because of the practices and behaviors of the congregation?

The fact that it's impossible to believe in Christ is what gets me. You don't have faith in Christ. You have faith in whoever wrote the bible. Know the difference. Embrace logic.
