There are some minor alterations to the official episode order to make these arcs work as films, but any changes to the official chronological order are small (Putting Maul's Season 4 and 5 arcs into a single epic 3 hour cut, moving the lone episode "A Friend in Need" up a bit in the timeline to fit with the Heroes on Both Sides arc. Making Cad Bane's seasons 1-3 arc into a single supercut). The rest of the alterations follow the official continuity order (2 season 1 and 2 episodes are now part of the extended Clone Wars Theatrical Film Cut due to them being part of the Battle of Christophsis, ect. ect.) and greatly enhance the show's viewing experience.

We all took for granted Barriss went toe to toe with THE Anakin Skywalker. Yes he was holding back to a degree as he was not trying to kill her and was trying to keep the fight contained. But even then, this was still was one hell of a duel. Barriss also whooped Ashoka's ass in Ashoka's exile arc, though she did abuse ambush tactics and element of surprise to do so. Barriss is a great fighter regardless

Barriss puts up a crazy fight for being forced to lock blades with the literal chosen one. Like yeah he's trying to subdue her not kill her, and yeah he's using 2 lightsabers instead of just one so he's forced to rely on a different lightsaber form than he's used to, but that doesn't take away from the level of skill it must have taken her just to survive the encounter. In the final third of the fight you really get to see how much of a struggle this really was for her as Anakin loses his second blade and starts to completely smash his way through her defense. This whole fight was extremely fluid and well choreographed by the production team and even being only a minute or so in length, I always get invested whenever I rewatch TCW and this scene comes on

I always found it odd and interesting that anakin yells at Barriss that she should have gotten rid of the sabers, it's like part of his old ways from tattooine, the swindling and the tricks of living there, he couldn't ever escape. In his shock he couldn't believe someone would be so naive to keep the evidence around like that after everything he'd seen in his life

This is the best lightsaber duel with Anakin Skywalker. And it foreshadows his path to Darth Vader, because he at first uses the Jedi way of fighting but as they continue at 02:52 he fights more brutal and angry.

I *LOVE* how after Barriss disarms Anakin of her saber, he reverts from Jar'kai to his specialty Djem So and immediately turns it up to 11 and puts her on her ass.
