Monergism/Calvinism, Synergism/Arminianism & The Doctrines of Grace (Part 1)

When we talk about monergism & synergism we’re talking about 2 answers to the question: Who is responsible for, or who brings about our salvation?

Monergism is the view that God alone effects our salvation. Synergism is the view that God works together with us in effecting salvation.

These are the separate viewpoints held by Calvinists and Arminians.

So, who does bring about our salvation? How does all this relate to the Doctrines of Grace? And, just what are the Doctrines of Grace after all?
