There are 2 terms every christian needs to know, every christian will fall under one of these 2 categories.

#Monergism

Definition:
Monergism is the theological view that God alone initiates and completes the process of salvation, without any contribution or cooperation from human free will. In this framework, salvation is entirely the work of God.

#Synergism

Definition:
Synergism is the theological view that human free will cooperates with divine grace in the process of salvation. In this framework, both God and the individual play active roles in the process of being saved.

Arminianism embodies synergism through its teachings on free will, resistible grace, and the need for human cooperation in the salvation process.

So the question I want answered is. Who is in control? God or man? Does God want a person to be saved but can not accomplish this without that individuals choice?
