Thanks for the info. There's a tornado outside my house right now, and I'm not sure what to do. This short video is just what I needed to stay safe.

Get underground or get out of the way.
Also the go to the inner room myth only works for weaker tornadoes. For stronger tornadoes, Get Underground or Get out of the way.
Tornadoes typically travel Southwest-Northeast, but if a tornado doesn't look like it's moving, it coming at you.

I was always told when there's a tornado you're supposed to stop drop and roll.
And if there's a fire hide in the basement until it's gone.

Best part of living in my country is that you don't have to worry about tornadoes.

We are 1 month away from tornado season in America, it's still unpredictable even during the months ahead, but they'll be warning sign before but for those in the area stay safe

Where I live we have no basement or tornado shelter and we get one every so often and just hope it doesn't hit us.. worse thing too is that if it did it would bounce around here and than leave bc our towns a bowl

Just like the Infographics Show do not attempt to take shelter in a mobile home as tornados can easily carry them away. Instead leave the mobile home preferably as soon as a tornado watch is issued so that way you will have enough time to take shelter and you will not be in danger of being hit by flying debris. Once you leave the mobile home take shelter in a sturdy building preferably a sturdy building with a underground basement. If there are no sturdy buildings nearby but there is a storm cellar nearby then take shelter in it. As a absolute last resort which is the same thing you should do if you are trapped outside with no shelter nearby then take cover in a ditch and get as low as you can and cover your head but be alert for flash flooding.

Hey bro I know it's dumb but if I'm driving in my car I'm not stopping. She can do a 1/4 mile in a little over 8 seconds. I really don't know how fast tornadoes are but surely not that fast. I'm also confident at my ability to drive at high rates of speed. On top of that I just don't want my car destroyed.... love that thing

Been there done that. If you lay in a ditch and that twister comes anywhere near you, well at least try to enjoy your flight time. Heard also to open the windows so air pressure is equalized and doesn't blow your house apart easier. Not sure about that one. Also put leash on any inside animals and hold it tight. It will sound like a freight train rolling right outside. No joke.
