I hope we will get to a point where all types of trousers will be 'in fashion' - just as all skirt lengths are now. Then we could all wear the fit and cut that suits are body shapes best without feeling outdated. When I was younger the fashion houses dictated what skirt length was 'current' - but finally women just decided to mainly stick with the length they liked and suited them.

Thanks for this video Lydia. I think if we are talking about style rather than trend led fashion, I think skinnies are now a classic piece and as you’ve shown, go with everything. Things are only ‘dated’ if we let fashion dictate our choices. Skinnies and straight legs are classics that should be classed as basics, like a white tee or a chunky knit.

I think skinny jeans are the perfect example as to why fashion and sustainability have a hard time going together, because so many people have them, but we're not promoted to wear them.
I still have a couple and they serve their purpose from time to time. Thanks for this video. I don't always feel my best in them but I refuse to get rid of them

I don’t understand why people are having problems with skinny jeans. They are so versatile. I hate the boxy leg trend because it makes everyone look bigger than they are. Between the chunky sweaters and wide leg pants, people are walking blobs nowadays.

in my opinion, skinny jeans will always be in fashion in the winter because it goes so well with winter boots. definitely can't wear wide legs nor flared jeans while trekking snow.

Another petite here that looks better in skinny jeans. From reading the comments, skinnies looks better or some, wider looks better on others and none should be in or out at this point. I did like all these great ideas to look current.

It's so thoughtful of you to do a skinny jeans how to video. I'm not a fan of them but appreciate your style and suggestions. I may use it for wearing leggings. I feel like I may as well wear leggings as apposed to skinnies...if anything. So much more comfortable than skinny jeans. Although my preference is straight jeans or trousers. Thanks for the content!
