Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah is a masterpiece.

I don't recall "Don't Stop Believing " ever being hated. I was a teenager in the 1980s and it was loved then as it is now.

"Guess you guys aren't ready for that. But your kids are gonna love it!"

Don't forget Disturb's cover of Sound of Silence. Pretty sure that made the fame skyrocket with today's generations even more.

When I hear "Achy Breaky Heart", I always think of the South Park episode where Stan got served 😂🤣

Creep was only hated by Radiohead themselves!

Scaramouche (in Bohemian Rhapsody) is not a made-up word, if that is the word he meant for being made up. Freddie was too good a lyricist and didn't need to use words that weren't real, even if people wouldn't understand without looking it up.

I still hate achy, Breaky heart, even though it is a pretty solid earworm. I love the Eagles, but I am not a fan of Hotel California or desperado. We built this city and don’t stop believing are absolute 80s anthems! I love it. Bohemian Rhapsody was ahead of its time and superbly crafted. Thank you to Wayne’s world for reintroducing something from our early childhood that went over our heads.❤

For "The Sound of Silence, " the original acoustic came out in 1964, not 1971. The electric version saw a 1966 release.

The Sound of Silence came out in 1964, not 1971...you are way off.

What you mean is songs critics hate public love. The ideal song for this list would be how you remind me by Nickleback

Stairway to Heaven was the most requested song on Philly rock stations for almost ten years running!

My little sister and our ex stepsister made up a dance to Achy Breaky Heart probably…..5 years ago at our old church’s Valentine’s Day Banquet. Our theme was western, cowboys/cowgirls. I sang Johnny Cash and June Carter’s Jackson as a solo and then the three of us made up a dance to and sang Achy Breaky Heart. The audience loved us especially when we started line dancing 😂

I still hate We Built this City, and that will never change

It's hard to believe that "Bohemian Rhapsody" was ever panned, though "Wayne's World" helped to introduce it to a new generation.

When the fuck did "We Built This City" ever become loved? It's got to be least rock'n'roll song ever written about rock'n'roll. Even the band hates it

Like a Rolling Stone is the perfect example, watching A Complete Unknown reminded me of how funny it was looking back at the controversy of Highway 61 Revisited.
