Whenever I hear "A Thousand Miles", I can't NOT think of Terry Crewes in "White Chicks".

Both A-ha and Vanilla Ice had more than one song that did well in the US and worldwide charts, so neither are technically one-hit wonders.

As a young musician I was fortunate to meet many of my music idols. I'd ask them "what advice do you have for someone looking to walk your path?"
One guy told me "write what you feel, release what you don't mind singing for the rest of your life, because you will.'
I've headed that.

Warrant was NOT a One Hit Wonder, nor was "Cherry Pie" their biggest hit! That would be "Heaven" in 1989, it reached #2. "Cherry Pie" reached #10 in 1990, as did "I Saw Red" in 1991.

This list is incomplete without at least an honorable mention of Robin Sparkles and her hit "Let's Go to the Mall"

Take Me On is my favorite, less because of the music but it was in in peak MTV days and that video is absolutely amazing.

James Blunt is laughing all the way to the bank with proceeds from You’re Beautiful and subsequent albums!!

I love "A Thousand Miles" because of Terry Crews singing along to the song in "White Chicks" and again in an episode of "Lip Sync Battle".

The Rembrandts had that other, less successful hit "That's Just the Way it Is", and it came on one day and floored me, because I'd completely forgotten about it, and it was such a great song. Suddenly, I was transported back to the days where I'd wait for it to come on the radio, so I could record and tape it XD

Afroman literally has a song One Hit Wonder where he complains about how many amazing songs he has put out that never got traction while Because I Got High was all anyone cared about. He had so many bangers! Also i agree about Aha, but I love the slower, unplugged version of that song.

One hit wonder? A-Ha made number one with “The Sun Always Shines on TV”, while “Take on Me” only made number 2. Maybe it’s different in the USA I guess

Gen Z fan here and A-ha is indeed an amazing band with a great catalog!

I’m watching this on Friday, and I *am* looking forward to the weekend! Where’s the lie? A basic but accurate anthem. Rebecca Black didn’t deserve the hate 😂

‘Bite the hand that feeds you’ springs to mind. Be grateful anyone likes the songs. You gladly took the money

Love that the comments on Rebecca's Friday video were still on, QUEEN!!! 💅

For me, A-ha's Bond song, Living Daylights, will always be my favourite A-ha song. They are so far from an one hit wonder band.

They may hate their songs, but, no doubt, they enjoy the money that rolls in!!!

Well for Rebecca's case, she got a crap ton of hate to where it's on the "GIVE UP MUSIC FOR GOOD" Nightmare level but she still kept going and redeemed herself to making one of the greatest artist comebacks. Absolute Respect.
