From a real-life Mowgli found living in the jungles of India to the rediscovery of the world’s largest and most impressive temple complex, here are ten incredible things found in the jungle!

10: Real-Life Mowgli
Back in 1872, a young boy named Dina Sanichar was discovered by a group of hunters in the jungles of India. This young boy was around six years old, and he was discovered living with a pack of wolves! He was a real-life wolf boy, and many people even say that this kid was the original inspiration for Mowgli from The Jungle Book.

9: Nazi Jungle Bunker
When we think about secret Nazi bunkers, we typically imagine them being either in Germany or somewhere in Europe. However, a recent discovery from Argentina shows that the dark Nazi history goes much farther across the globe.

8: Amazon Forest Rings
One of the most mysterious discoveries in the jungle has to be the earthen rings in the Amazon rainforest. Researchers have discovered a series of square and ring-shaped ditches scattered throughout the Bolivian Amazon and the Brazilian Amazon which they believe were there even before the rainforest as we know it existed.

7: Giant Congo Snake
The giant Congo snake has been a mystery for many years. It all started in 1959 when a colonel in the Belgian Air Force was operating in the Congo. It was in the Katanga region of the country when the colonel was returning from a mission inside his helicopter that he flew over what may have been the largest snake in existence.

6: Mayan Ruins Under Guatemala
Most people know by now that the ancient Maya empire covered much of southern Mexico and pretty much all of Guatemala. And while new and interesting discoveries are being made all the time, perhaps the most amazing recent discovery was when researchers found over 60,000 hidden ruins in Guatemala previously unknown to modern society.

5: Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat does not get the attention it deserves. It's definitely not a recent discovery. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of tourists flocked to the site of Angkor Wat every year to watch the sun rise over the jungle temple.

4: The World’s Largest Flower
Let's move away from giant monuments and take a look at the biggest flower in the world. It was spotted back in 2020 in the jungles of Indonesia. According to Indonesian conservationists, it is the biggest specimen ever of what has already been labeled as one of the largest flowers on the planet.

3: Costa Rica Spheres
The Costa Rica spheres have been a point of debate for quite some time. They were first discovered in the 1930s by workers for a fruit company who were clearing land inside of the Diquis Valley when they began to unearth enormous stone spheres that were almost perfectly round.

2: Swamp Ghost World War II Bomber
In the swampy jungles of Papua New Guinea, a piece of history has been found. I'm talking about a bomber from World War Two rotting away in a secluded swamp in one of the most primitive places in the world.

1: The Invisible Frog
In Bolivia, a rare species of frog has been spotted for the first time in 18 years. This is one of the rarest jungle creatures out there. It's a very unique species of frog that has translucent skin that makes it pretty much invisible.

That's fascinating to watch a frog's heartbeat and you don't have to open it up or anything. Why couldn't we learn this kind of stuff in school I'm 35 and remember dissecting worms... Really people worms?🪱🪱🪱
