I wonder if Dr. Heiser might allow for a more subtle approach to the Watchers and their influence than "ancient aliens" allows. For example, mind altering substances taught by them facilitating human creativity re: warfare, metallurgy, etc. i.e. shamanistic experiences he mentioned. He seems to suggest he might but the conversation went elsewhere.

I daily consume from Dr. Michael S. Heiser's excellence at bringing back the things lost over time. The Church and we our selves are most of the cause of a lot if not most of the lose. People will believe on their own and if their getting the answers they seek through the truth or the lies. It takes more study involvement and time to get closer to the truth. Preachers of the day, what they leave out has more meaning than the guilt speech they give every Sunday. Sad

At about 20:58, Dr Heiser alludes to “these beings not being very advanced because they treat humans like lab rats, in a violent way”… so I’m wondering, (and I’m truly not trying to be a jerk), what that makes us? Humans are very cruel and violent to animals and humans alike for the sake of “science”. And even if we don’t participate in the violent act of testing on animals or humans, we most likely benefit from the testing through medicine or cosmetics. As imagers of God, how do we reconcile this about ourselves? This surely can’t be what God meant by having dominion over the animals. Are those people who do violent testing on animals for the sake of science under the influence of demonic beings? Any thoughts out there?
