I have lived with this my whole life. I had corrective surgery at 3 years old. I wore the thick glasses, patches, and drops. As an adult now, my still turns in... especially when I'm tired. My vision was always 20/20 until the past few years. I was bullied as a child because of my lazy eye. I have a complex of insecurity to this day looking people in the face for more than a few seconds. People still make underhanded jokes about "lazy eye". They are ignorant and uneducated most of the time. I hope to get more treatment as an adult as soon as I get vision insurance.

Hey doc...i think there is a term called Eye dominant one of our eye is more dominant to precision and detail and non dominant eye is FOCUSSES more on peripheral and surroundings..either you are right eye dominant or left eye dominant... then what is this concept lazy eye ? whats the difference between non dominant eye and lazy eye ?
